Mission San Miguel de Arcangel - by Kennedy

Mission San Miguel Arcangel was the 16th mission built in 1797 in a small town called San Miguel.

My sister, Landry, and I are standing in front of the archway that leads to the museum.

We took the picture of the front of the mission from across the street. Inside of here is the church.

In the cemetery, the rock wall has three bells.

The hallway leads to the church and has flags from the United States, Spain and Mexico.

Inside the church, people were celebrating a baptism. A baptism is when the priest puts water in the baby's head and says prayers to them. We heard the priest and the baby crying.

This wall is special because it is the only mission with the original paintings from when the mission was built.
