Mission San Juan Bautista by Landry

Mission San Juan Bautista is a little past Gilroy.

The mission has 3 bells.

Buried in this cemetery are about 4300 settlers. That's a lot of people.

I like this church because of the statues behind the alter.

This church is very big...the biggest of all the missions.

San Juan Bautista has a church with a pulpit that is up high.

This mission has stagecoaches in a separate building.

The horses had to stay in these dirty stalls.

The huts at this mission are diffrerent than the others because they don't have just one opening. The others were cone-shaped with one opening.

The courtyard of this mission is quite small.

I am standing in front of some rose bushes. The building behind me is the church.

The hallway is very long.

Mission San Juan Bautista is a historical landmark. All missions are historic landmarks but they all have their own landmark numbers.
