Girl Time - by Landry

Today Claudia came swimming with the school. She is our best friend from preschool and we like to hang out with each other. Juliet who is Claudia sister also came along.

The three of us were trying to do a triple handstand. It didn't work out very well but it was still fun trying.

Kennedy and die easily figured out how to do it with the two of us. It was just hard getting a third person up there.

Beach Day - by Kennedy

On a hot Woodies On The Warf weekend, we desided to go to the beach with Gramma Arizona and Grampa Bill.  The waves we big and they went far so Landry and I made a big sand wall to protect us from the water.

After the waves came it destroyed the first section of the wall, but the last big wall was hard to beat because it was helped bye the boogie boards.

As we kept building I desided to lay down in front of he wall to help the waves not go bye and to get wet when the water comes.

After we built the wall a wave brought up a closed shell that I was trying to open up but it was to strong. After all that fun we got cleaned off, went to the condo and watch the USA men's Copa America soccer game.

Goalie Practice - by Landry

I just started a new goalie practice with my coach named Coach Zac. There were five other kids and then Kennedy decided to join into.

At first we did warm-ups and then he taught us how to dive and catch high shots.

Since we hadn't eaten dinner yet we decided to go to tutti  frutti and get frozen yogurt.

My favorite flavor is strawberry lemonade. Plus I like to put boba balls on top.

National Cup Weekend - by Kennedy

On a really hot weekend in Sacramento,  my soccer team, Santa Clara Sporting was ready for a hot weekend.

All the teams we played had really tall players that were pushing a lot. I played against one of the tallest on the team. To get a clue how tall they were, the girls were at least a head taller than me.

After the first loss of the tournament we went to a Mexican restaurant and ate with Delilah, Logan, and Logan's dad, Garner.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn about 15 minutes away from the fields we played at. Delilah stayed three doors down from us and at the same time Morgan stayed right above us.

On Saturday nigh, both of our my soccer teams (the green and the white teams) all had dinner together at The Spaghetti Factory. It was crazy.

We went miniature glow in the dark golfing with everyone. We all got split up into groups and I was with Delilah, Nat, and Christina. Christina has twin brothers, Justin and Mathew. Justin calls me his brother.

Warming up before our last game.

Champions - by Kennedy

On a hot weekend my mom got an e-mail from her friend PJ and he was asking if we wanted to guest play for his daughter's sand soccer tournament in Santa Cruz. We said yes and I was really exited.

During warm-ups Leecee (PJ's daughter) told me that the Rampage Stampede, our team, was defending champions so I knew they were really good.

It was my first time doing sand soccer and it was a good experience. I learned all the rules in one game.

A busy day later was the day of Landry's soccer game that I guest played for where I scored the winning goal. It was the day we played the sand soccer championships game. At the last second, our teammate drew scored the winning goal.

For winning the championship game we got to go on a stage and received a gold medal as well as a team trophy.

After the game we went to Ideal Cafe to eat dinner and watch the Warriors win in the playoffs.
We got the day special which was baby back ribs and french fries.

The Eggs that Weren't - by Kennedy

One night our mom brought us two eggs that were big and long. We didn't know what it was from so she told us to shake them.

After we shook them we were told to carefully break them open and see what was inside. The egg I opened had the dead baby chick and the egg Landry opened had normal yokes.
P

The eggs were from a kindergarten class who did a project on how the eggs cracked at my moms school.

They put the eggs in an incubator. Only four of the eggs cracked. The reason the other chicks didn't hatch was because the chicks didn't have all their body parts in their body and they didn't have enough energy to break it open.

Third Street - by Landry

This year we graduated from third street. That is the after school program we go to. And my team won the Amazing Race.

The fifth graders got a special gift and necklace. We were excited to move on to sixth grade. It was sad to leave but someday we would see them again.

Food Drive - by Landry

For the fifth grade exhibition my group did a food drive. Second Harvest Food Bank provided us with the bins, posters, flyers, and bags.

Every afternoon my group would have to go empty the bins and sort it out.

The Sharks! By Landry

Justin Braun handed me a puck as he was walking into the locker rooms. Sometimes players just hit them over the glass.

It was made special for this game. Game four of the Stanley Cup playoffs against the St. Louis Blues.

Every fan got a bracelet that was coded to blink at a certain time. They had LED lights that were inside.

When all the lights are off it looks so cool because the arena is lit up by bracelets.

After the game people party on the streets and just enjoy the experience. Sometimes people are drunk but you just have to be careful.

Every year if the Sharks are in the playoffs, banners are hung up and they have every player's name and number.

Tadpoles - by Landry

Our mom got tadpoles from the
Los Gatos creek trail. They would have died if she didn't get them.

As the tadpoles got older they grew legs and were able to jump.

Once they had no more tail then we released them in our neighbors yard. It was sad to let them go but they needed a permanent home.
