Woodies - by Kennedy

This weekend we went to Woodies on the Wharf with Grandma Arizona, Grampa Bill, Nana, and Papa.  A nice lady let Landry and I in her woodie.

I had a lot of favorite cars. This picture of a woodie is from Washington.

This woody is one of my favorites because it is a low rider.

A lot of the car had these pieces of art at the front of the car.  This piece of art is a tiki man.

Some of the cars were displaying the engines.

When my mom and I were looking at this car, we saw people looking inside it. It had a cool interior.

This woodie has a small car connected in the engine.  The car in the engine lookers just like the car on the outside.

I like this car a lot because it is black with red flames

Weekend Downtime - by Landry

This weekend we went to SOFA.

One of the exhibits was really cool. When you touched the glass a colored line would connect to your finger or fingers.
We played a video game that this guy made and I won a round.
Actors were doing a show and a lot of people were watching.
This was my favorite peice of art. I liked the colors.
We ate at OJ's and this was what my mom had.

My mom fishtail braided my hair.

Destination Science Camp by Landry

This week we went to Destination Science Camp. We made dinosaur robots. This was the one I built.

Then we made digital dice. When you press the button in the dice a number will show.

This is Destination Science's motto.

Moxie was afraid of our Dino- robots.

On our last day of camp we got to take everything home. I love this camp!

Woodies on the Wharf - by Landry

This weekend we went to Woodies on the Wharf in Santa Cruz.

I really liked this white car.

There were many interesting license plates. This one says Yosemite.

A lot of cars had Woody dolls.

This car's engine was really rusty.

We got to sit in this car. I have never been in one before.

This is another cool license plate I saw.

This car was another one of my favorites.

The wood on this car is really dark. I like it.

The owner of this car made two sand castles in front of it.

Science Camp by Kennedy

This week we did a camp called Destination Science.

On the last day of science camp we made goo with different chemicals.  My goo was yellow.

This is a different type of goo.  This kind was made bye dripping a food coloring into a chemical.  There were balls made out of it and if you squeeze them they will pop and squirt out a colorful liquid.

When we left, we went to Santa Cruz but we were able to take everything we made home.

We continued to play with our designs and scared the cat!

Kennedy Goes to Canada for World Cup Soccer

This weekend we went to Winnipeg, Canada to attend the 2015 Women's World Cup.

USA went to play at Winnipeg Stadium.  USA played Sweden.

The attendance was more than 32,000.

USA beat Sweden 0-0.

Landry Heads to Winnipeg

I went to Winnipeg for the Womens World Cup. This is the view from the airplane.
In the front of the stadium people were already lined up to go in.

Here I am in front of the stadium. I was wearing my USA jersey with Wambach on the back.
These are the teams running out of the tunnel onto the field.
Here are Australia and Nigeria lined up for the national anthems.
After Australia and Nigeria played USA came onto the field and started to warm up.
USA tied 0-0 to Sweden  but it was still a good game.
