The Sharks! By Kennedy

When we went to the sharks game, we were exited because we all had seats on the glass.  These players you see on the picture are all of the Sharks' new players: Tennyson, Goodrow, and Karlsson.

The Sharks had a power play against the St. Louis Blues.  When the sharks have a power play, the fans do what Landry and I am doing in this picture.

Before we came to the game we all got Santa hats.  We took lots of pictures.

This is Bret Hedican, the Sharks' radio broadcaster.  At the end of the 2nd period we went to see him and say, " Thank you for the tickets!"

Two very good Sharks players are Hertl and Couture.

The picture below is when the Sharks scored to win in overtime.

Rally time - by Kennedy

Stanford played Maryland in the Foster Farms Bowl game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.  We went to the rally at Union Square in San Francisco.  This is the Stanford tree below.

There were lots of Stanford and Maryland fans at the rally.

These are lots of the past Stanford trees.  The weird thing about Stanford is that they always change their trees every year.

At the rally, each team's coach made an announcement and one of there players said something.

The band and the cheerleaders danced and sang like crazy.  The band played their instruments very loudly.

Stanford Rally - by Landry

The Stanford rally was held in San Francisco for the Foster Farms Bowl.

The Stanford band came and played some songs along with the Maryland band.

Coach David Shaw then talked a bit about how they felt about the bowl game.

Stanford has five main cheerleaders. They are called the "dollies."

Hockey on the Glass - by Landry

Antti Niemi is the San Jose Sharks goalie. He is very good!

We all wore our Santa hats to the game.

Logan Couture is my favorite player. His position is the center.

There is Joe Pavelski racing down the ice with the other teams players.

When the players came by we would bang on the glass. It was fun!

Bret Hedican as the guy who gave us the tickets. He is Kristy Yamuguchi's husband. Bret is the Sharks' radio announcer.

We got a close up  picture of Patrick Marleau.

This is the game winning goal. It was scored by Joe Pavelski.

Before Christmas - by Landry

Before Christmas I went to big lots to buy my dad a new heat dish heater.

But before we went to target and I got packs of hockey cards. Three special cards I got were Brent Burns, Logan Couture, and Thomas Hertle.

When we were driving back home we saw that our tree fell.

So, I went to check it out with my gramps and Kennedy.

State Cup Soccer by Landry

This weekend we had a soccer tournament in Sacramento.

The tournament was for the NorCal State Cup. In the state, our team is ranked thirteenth.

At our second soccer game Ms. Blinn came to watch the second half with her son, Jack.

Before that game we played a game called shoot, defend, then go back to the line you started in.

At that game someone sang the national anthem and both teams lined up with the referees in the middle.

Here we are warming up, shooting on the goalie and getting ready to play.

The Blue Angels - by Landry

A Sunday in October we went to see the Blue Angels in San Francisco. The Blue Angels fly for Fleet Week. We watched them from our grandpa's boat.

Those are all 6 of the Blue Angels. the Blue Angels are jets from the Navy.

In that picture there are four Blue Angels. The Blue Angels are a group of planes that do amazing stunts.

Those are five of the six Blue Angels flying and making white smoke.

Kennedy's project

Kennedy's 4th grade project on Leif Eriksson. She wrote the content and selected the pictures. We let Emaze do the rest.

Field Trip Day - by Kennedy

Today we went on a field trip to Santa Cruz on a bus. Then we went on a catamaran ride.  After the bride, we went on the beach. We played and ate lunch while the other class was on the boat.

The water came so high that there was big puddles.  In the puddles were barnacles. We collected them.

I was playing football and soccer with most of the class. It was hard to run because the sand was to soft.

We had a contest that if the stick fell from the water before we left, then we lose recess and if it stayed up, we wouldn't get homework.  It fell before we left but Ms Bellmer tricked us.  We get recess still!
