Mission San Francisco de Asis By Kennedy

Mission San Francisco de ASIs is big and has two buildings.

Mission San Francisco de Asis is in the mission district of San Francisco.

Mission San Francisco is landmark #327.

This is a mural that they painted more than 200 years ago on the walls of the church.

The ceiling has zig zag designs and was painted with vegetable oil. I think that the red is made out of beets, tomatoes and other veggies

This is the front of the big and colorful basilica called Mission Dolores.

This is the basilica. This basilica was intentionally built with the mission.

When I was in the basilica I smelt the burning candles from the prayers that people left.

What is special about this mission is that in the basilica, there are stained glass windows for each of the other 20 missions. You can see them above. I took a picture of the Missions San Miguel and San Fernando.

This child died at the age of seven years, three months and twenty one days.
