Xmas 2015 - by Landry

It our house tradition is that make cinnamon rolls for Christms morning. They always taste yummy!

Santa got us Nutella and put it in our stockings. That would last us a long time.

Ever year at Christmas, our whole family gathers at my grandparent's house to open presents and do Secret Santa.

We get our trees from our Christmas tree farm in Placerville.

On the 26th, we went to my nana and papa's house in Aptos. My cousins and aunt and uncle were there too.

Stanford Sports - by Landry

The Stanford football team was honored at halftime. That is a big team!

Somehow Kennedy got a hold of my mom's phone and we took a selfie together.

In the stands, people were handing out foam sticks. After the game we went around our section to collect the sticks people left at their seats.

Stanford Football/Volleyball - by Kennedy

We went to a Stanford women's basketball game in Palo Alto.  It was a must win game against Tennessee.  It was the week before the Stanford football team went to the Rose Bowl.  The whole football team went to the basketball game.

First, I went up to Kevin Hogan, the quarterback for Stanford.

Then, I went up to the head coach of the football team, Coach David Shaw.  He was sitting in the front row with his two sons, wife, and parents.

After I went to visit two more of the good football players.

Then, I kept visiting more players.  This is one of the defensive players.

Finally, I went to see a player with a broken leg. When I tapped on his shoulder he sort of jumped.  I think I scared him.   He sort of looked Iike Justin Beiber.

Hands On Bay Area - by Kennedy

Early in the morning my mom, Landry, and I went to a special food picking program in our neighborhood.

First we went on Hobson Street to pick oranges at our neighbor's house.

First you have to spray sanitizer on the crates and the pickers.  Then you need to put the bags in the crate.  Finally you put the fresh oranges in the bags.

Some of the oranges were so high you needed to go on the big ladder.

All in all, we picked more than 300 pounds of oranges and lemons!

Christmas 2015 - by Kennedy

A couple days before Christmas Landry, my mom, and I went hiking at the Santa Cruz mountains with Michelle my moms friend.

Right when Michelle asked if we like to carry banana slugs, I said yes and that is when I saw one and picked it up.

On Christmas Eve we went to my moms running teammates house.  She has 2 cadaver dogs that really famous. She gave both of us a homemade beenie and candy stars.

My mom makes the best cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning.

Finally, we ge the best Christmas presents you can imagine.  I am really thankful for everything I get in my life.

Garden to Table - by Landry

At Garden to Table, we picked fruits and vegetables at people's houses.

At the first house, we picked oranges. I used a ladder to pick the really high fruits.

The group of uses helping probably picked about 10 of those buckets you see here. It was hard work.
The bags in the buckets were then moved not crates. The crates had to be cleaned just in case there were any fertilizers that the fruits should not have on them.

At times, I would go up on the ladder. And help another person on picking the high oranges.

Thanksgiving - by Landry

This thanksgiving, we went to our cabin. It is in Placerville.

Our elf always arrives that day. His name is Harold.

Since  we have a pond there it is our hobbie to go fishing. Usually we would catch a lot of fish but in the winter the fish are at the bottom of the lake and do not bite.

The cabin is also a Christmas tree farm. My job is the cashier.

This was the Thanksgiving of 2015!  I love the cabin!

Stanford Beats Notre Dame - by Landry

We received field passes for this game and we were really close to Christian McCaffrey.

We walked through the tunnel in which the players enter the field.

Some of these linemen were really huge.

Christian McCaffrey and Barry Sanders are two of Stanford's running backs.

I got to take pictures of the players with my mom's camera.

I don't know why I took this picture because it is of Notre Dame and we, along with most of the stadium, were rooting for Stanford.

Conrad Ukropina kicked the winning field goal and the fans were so excited that everyone rushed on the field to congratulate the players and celebrate.

To remember this day I kept some red grass.

I rolled around on the grass while we waited for Kennedy and the boys.

This was the whole group at this Stanford football game.

After the game we went to the gate where the players met their families and we stopped them to get autographs.

Off to the Rose Bowl - by Landry

Here we are at the Pac-12 Championship at Levi's Stadium. Stanford will be playing USC.

At the tailgate we met up with our friend Mary Charlotte. There was a nice man who made things out of balloons.
When the players entered the field, there were fireworks. We were not expecting that so I got scared.
I got this cute little balloon football player. Most of him popped by the end game.
And yes! Stanford won!
Both of the teams met in midfield to shake hands.
Man there was a ton of confetti. And everyone was cheering loudly.
