Punt Pass & Kick - by Kennedy

A composition I do every year is called punt, pass, and kick. It is a competition where they add up the length of everyone's score and whoever gets the most in there age group, gets to go back for another round and if they win that they get to go to a 49ers game and get a certificate on the field.

There were lots of kids but one in my age group other than my sister. The closer you get to the tape measure the better.

It was overcast so it was hard to throw. To make it easy I blew on my hands to make them warmer and stickier.

I won my group so i get to come back October 15,2016.

The balls were big so that means we need to practice with the bigger balls since we gat used to the size of the big ball and the size of our tiny hands.

A Trip to Costco - by Kennedy

A day we had nothing to do we wanted to go to Costco with nana and papa. It was awesome especially once we found the big bear. I found the giant bear and Landry found the baby bear.

The bear was $180 for the big one so we just took apicture of us and the big bear.

Once I got it down it weighs 20 more pounds than me so I needed help to put it back up.

Begonia Festival - by Landry

This year my family went to the Begonia Festival. It is about groups of people who make floats with begonia flowers.

This was the second float and it had a man dressed as a gorilla. It has a hot air balloon and it had the Golden gate Bridge and the Eiffel Tower.

The third float had a tiki man. It also had drummers.

This one was my favorite. It was about traveling across the world and getting your passport stamped with all the countries that you've gone too.

This one was supposed to be a golf course. As you can see it has the flag for where the hole is. At the end of the festival there are prizes for first place, second place, and third place. Plus there are prizes for best music, the best art, and some other cool things.

Meeting an Olympian - by Landry

This weekend we went to Santa Clara University for a soccer clinic. Brandi Chastain was there and she signed autographs. Cindy Parlor Cone signed autographs too.

We learned more skills and got good advice. I hope we can do it next year.
