Victory! By Landry

We went to the Women's World Cup in Canada.

We were on television with a bunch of other crazy fans.

A little boy was holding this funny sign.

Before the game I went to lunch with Logan who is on our soccer team.

In the stadium I got a picture with some Japanese fans who were rooting for their team.

Team USA came out of the locker room to start warming up.

The total attendance was 53,347. It was loud!

When the game started USA scored 4 goals in 15 minutes.😮

My mom's stickers were starting to come off, so I had to put them back on.

One of the assistant coaches gave me a FIFA soccer ball from Team USA.

USA won the World Cup 🇺🇸 5-2 🇯🇵. It was awesome!🏆

Each player got an American flag.

We saw Abby Wambach's mom and took a picture with her.

Every USA fan went home smiling.

Carli Loyd won the Golden Ball Award.

I went to bed really late that night so the next day I slept in.

Champions! By Kennedy

This weekend USA played Japan in the 2015 Women's World Cup Finals.  Our hotel was right across the street from the stadium.  It was the 4th of July. The stadium had red, white, and blue lights.

Today, is the game.  We were wearing a lot of red, white, and blue.

Before the game USA fans were celebrating.  We were on national T.V.

Logan went to the game with us.

A boy had a sign that said, "Wish I could play like a girl."

The stadium was crazy when Hope Solo came out with the other goalies.

Carli Lloyd is captain for a reason.
Carli Lloyd scored 3 goals for USA's 5-2 win against Japan.

When we were standing in the front row, one of the USA coaches gave us an official World Cup ball.

After the game we ran into Abby Wambach's mom.

After the game all the USA fans were chanting and going crazy.

Stanley Park and Fan Zone - by Landry

In the newspaper today we found a picture of Alex Morgan, paid for by the Oakland Raiders. She went to Cal.

This is the city of Vancouver where the Women's World Cup is located.

We took a bike ride to see the totem poles which Canada is known for.

This was my favorite totem pole.

When we were bike riding we went under the Lion's Gate Bridge.

On a rock in the ocean was a growing tree. We wondered why it was there.

Kennedy and I sat on a tree in the park.

After we ate lunch we went to the World Cup Fan Zone.

We took a silly picture and it looked like I was standing on the chair.

Then I did a shooting game that showed me how fast I had shot the ball.

Before we left we got a picture with Uncle Sam.

Saturday in Vancouver - by Kennedy

Today is 4th of July.  We are in Vancouver, Canada.

We went on a bike ride in Stanley Park.

On the bike ride the trail led us to beutiful totem poles.

The trail also led us to the the Lion's Gate Bridge.

This tree we are sitting on is a good climbing tree.

After we went to the Fan Zone that was right across the street from our hotel.  There were fun soccer games because USA and Japan are playing in the 2015 Women's World Cup Finals.

There were also places where you take pictures.

People were giving out free bottles of coke.

Another one of the games was kicking a soccer ball.  It tracks how hard you kick the ball.  I kicked it 113 MPH.
