Magic Cup Champions - by Kennedy

This weekend my soccer team had a a tournament called MAGIC CUP.  The name of my team is Santa Clara Sporting.

After we won all of our games we were finally in the finals.  In the finals we won 2-1.  The winning goal was scored by Esmeralda.  After she kicked right over the goalies head it was obvious we were going to win because I heard the referee's watch alarm go off.  When he blew the whistle all I  heard was all the parents and everybody on our team screaming. We had to congratulate the other team for getting to this point in the tournament.

Once we win or lose at the end of the game we go and high five the parents for the good things we did in the soccer game.

Everybody on the team got a medal and the whole team shared a glass trophy that said CHAMPIONS on it.

Winning Is Fun - by Landry

This weekend we had a soccer tournament in Morgan hill. It was called The Magic Cup.

This was our third game of the tournament. We won! That game lead us to the championship.

In the championship our game went into overtime.we got a free kick and scored. We won the championship!

After the game we went to the trophy booth to get our medals and our trophy.

This was the first tournament our team has ever won together.

Hanging out in Tahoe - Landry

This weekend my family went to Tahoe where we stayed at Olympic Village. We went on a bike ride.

At Squaw Village there were trampolines and my dad let me jump. I tried to do a flip but it didn't work. 

I went super high! The people who were controlling this place did the super bounce for me and I went about 50 feet in the air.

Taylor Swift 1989 - by Kennedy

Yesterday we went to the Taylor Swift concert at Levi's Stadium.  It was a sold out stadium at 50,000 people.

Taylor Swift sang all of her good songs like Shake It Off, Bad Blood, Welcome to New York, and Blank Space.

We had lots of fun with mommy and daddy.

One of my favorite things at the concert was that everyone got a bracelet that lights up at certain times.

Taylor Swift has a lot of trucks for the stage and all of her outfits.

We took a funny face selfie.

It was windy. The flags were really moving.

We sat up in the nosebleeds. Taylor Swift started the concert with Welcome to New York.

She had some really great outfits. This was my favorite.

There was a fifty yard runway she stood on that moved. Great America has fireworks on Friday and Saturday and Taylor Swift thought they were for her.

We're 5th Graders by Kennedy

This week is our first day of school.  We are in 5th grade.

Since, this is our last year at Horace Mann, we get to wear light blue shirts instead of navy blue shirts.

Hazel, Grace, Landry, and I are all in the same class.

After school we went to dinner with Claudia and Juliet.  This is Claudias last year at her school because she is in fifth grade also.

This is the start to our fifth grade school year.

The people who took us were my mom, dad, and grampa.

These girls are my best friends at school. ( starting from the left): Hazel, me, Kennedy, and Grace who has been in my class since kindergarten.

After school I went to dinner with Claudia and Juliet at Sweet Tomatoes.

Squaw Valley - Kennedy

When we were in squaw valley there was really nice weather so we went for a bike ride.

Where everybody hangs out is where we went jumping and flipping on the trampolines.  I loved flipping because it was fun.  The online thing I didn't like was that it made me dissy.
